Job Description
Are you a marketing enthusiast with a passion for delivering impactful campaigns and building relationships? Kanexon is seeking a creative and out of the box thinking Marketing Coordinator to join our team! As our Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns across various channels, organizing and managing online events, producing marketing materials, and promoting our company and product. You’ll also foster a positive internal culture, represent the Kanexon in the community, verify data for marketing communications, and build strong relationships with vital nonprofits, social and community organizations.
Duties Include:
Updates and maintain Kanexon’s event calendars, website, and social media.
Produces newsletter, promotional copy, press releases, and other collateral materials.
Develops concepts and designs for various printed and digital materials, including brochures, banners, ads, and other publications.
Ensures that all designs meets management’s needs and expectations.
Collaborates with team to conceptualize, design, and refine creative assets that effectively communicate key messages and drive engagement.
Stays current on industry trends and best practices in graphic design, marketing, and communications, as well as emerging technologies and platforms.
Assists in any future event or webinar planning.
Maintains, updates and segments contact database, email distributions, guest lists, and analytics
Updates the website with photos and content.
Creates content strategies for social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, SnapChat, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Gathering data and analysis to report to management.
Maintains current knowledge and ability to speak about Kanexon’s programs.
Prepares and produces presentations and reports as requested.
Provides progress reports on communications activities and other reports.
Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to be persuasive, relate well to others, and work with little supervision. Work under pressure and meet deadlines and goals. Maintain calm demeanor in stressful situations. Ability to work well with diverse teams.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications or related field, and/or relevant work experience.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English (verbal and written);
Desired two years of design experience in the creation and manipulation of digital graphic design art.
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a variety of staff and community members.
Working knowledge of print design and production principles as well as digital media principles and graphic design concepts and skills.
One to two years of experience in marketing or advertising, preferably in the SaaS industry
High level of problem-solving capabilities, curiosity, self-motivation, adaptability, and passionate about personal growth and learning
Creativity and innovation for finding new and more efficient ways of doing things
Excellent time management skills and exceptional attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; desirable skills include graphic design, social media management, event planning and coordination, retail marketing, video creation and editing, as well as experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
