Dalal & Mehta, LLC Hiring for Billing Clerk at Remote Full Time

Our law firm is seeking a sharp individual to join our accounting department as a billing specialist. You are tasked to revise, process, and issue accurate monthly billing. Consistent follow-up is required in this role, so prior experience in accounts receivable is a valuable asset.

This position will start as a part-time position. The shift starts from 10 am-3 pm Eastern Time.

Compensation:

$400 monthly

Responsibilities:

• Revise invoices in accordance with attorney requests and prepare final bills for mailing
• Run accounts receivable reports to keep track of past due accounts and follow up on payment
• Process incoming payments to appropriate accounts and keep precise financial records

• Issue and adjust invoices to clients as necessary on a monthly basis
• Work with the Sales and Production team to identify necessary payments of clients.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college is helpful
• Computer proficiency with MS Office, Excel, and billing software programs is essential
• Two years of experience working as in a billing specialist position at a law firm
• Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and meet deadlines
• Superb written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills are necessary for this position
