Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Hiring for Maintenance Incharge at Meghalaya Full Time

JOB DESCRIPTION: 1. Financial Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure adherence to the same as per timelines Ensure machine availability like mine excavation, drilling machines at the right time and address any equipment breakdown issues as per requirements Take initiatives to drive growth for DCBL and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization 2. Customer Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure adherence to the same as per timelines Ensure mine equipment availability at the right time and address any breakdown issues as per requirements Serve as point of contact responsible for coordinating maintenance requirements associated with addressing mining contingency incidents like mine fires, equipment and machinery downtime, breakdown, etc. Liaise with Vendors, AMC providers, suppliers to ensure annual maintenance activities are carried out as per contracted policies 3. Operations Support, comply and ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality and environment regulations Ensure routine maintenance requirements of mine sites are carried out within set timelines Ensure all preventive, reactive, corrective and planned maintenance schedules are adhered to Monitor on a daily basis, the under carrage parts and Hydraulic cylinders in excavators to avoid surprise breakdowns Monitor on a daily basis, the Excavators hoses conditions to avoid the number of sudden hose failure and oils Monitor regular consumables like Tyres, filters and lubricants and maintain minimum stock at mines to avoid the equipment stoppages due to lack of consumables Proactively identify areas of obstruction/breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipment’s through application of trouble shooting tools Manage the process of disposal of obsolete equipment as per applicable environment, safety and quality related regulations Ensure appropriate MIS and HEMM report is created, maintained and shared for feedback and decision making Ensure adherence to the set maintenance plans with an aim to drive overall effectiveness and efficiency of mine production capability Ensure initiation of modern technologies at the mine sites to ramp-up cane limestone extraction levels using energy efficient, pollution free and minimum downtime techniques Maintain and report monthly statistics on O&M activity administered at the mine sites Drive initiatives to adopt Introduction of New Technology and Development of Vendors and Business Partners to ensure cost savings Ensure initiation and sensitization of the employees towards digitization and automation of the processes Focus on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization 4. Self/ Team Development Review and monitor performance of team members and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs Recommend training as required for teams development Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
