Profile

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting accuracy of the business vertical including posting of Journal Entries on accounting systems during the month and at month end.

Be able to track and monitor AP/AR Controls, prepare relevant reconciliation for the vertical.

Should have very good knowledge of accounting basics and accounting standards.

Support business in any flash reporting.

Liaise with internal and external auditors on compliance and accounting queries.

Liaise with the tax team on any issues and queries related to local and statutory taxes.

Liaise with financial partner of the vertical and support in daily activities related to Budgeting Process, Forecasting, MIS Reporting-Locally and Globally,

Support the financial partner in Budget V/S Actual Variance Analysis.

Ability to take up additional responsibilities to streamline the business processes and preparation and control of relevant SOPs

Qualification:
Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years experience (preferably from Big6)

Working experience on JD-Edwards/SAP accounting modules is preferred

Experience in Ecommerce/Retail companies is preferred

Good communication and presentation skills

Strong interest for analysis and data management
