Analytics & Cognitive will work with our clients to:
Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platformsLeverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actionsDrive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements
ETL Informatica Admin – Consultant

The position is suited for individuals who have the ability to work in a constantly challenging environment and deliver effectively and efficiently.

Work you’ll do

Informatica Power Center Developer

The ETL Developer / Designer will be responsible for Design & development of Informatica Power Center framework & Mappings.
Create test scripts and execute the unit, module and system test for data warehouse ETL processes and the resulting data contents
Installation and configuration of Informatica Power Center and other related products.
Managing the DEV/QA/UAT/PROD environments with High Availability and GRID setup
Build Informatica Data Exchange/Data Transformation (DX/DT) and Data Quality environments for various POCs or setting up the enviornments if required
Perform Informatica Power Center 8.x/9.x System Administration and Power Exchange System Administration including Team Based Development administration
Scheduling real time system jobs
Root Cause analysis for ETL job failures/Data issues raised by business
Liaise with Systems Administrators, UNIX, Network and DBAs, scheduling and implementing software patches and upgrades
Informatica command line language
Support multiple Informatica environments, production and development
Support development teams with performance tuning and troubleshooting issues
Handle day to day Informatica components migration tasks
Scheduling and Monitoring Informatica repository backups
Review of Informatica ETL design documents and working closely with development to ensure correct standards are followed
Scheduling jobs through Autosys/Control M for monthly and daily job cycles
INC/Remedy Ticket handling and problem ticket analysis

Analytics + Information Management (AIM) is one of the major service lines within Technology practice of Deloitte US India Consulting org. Service lines are comprised of capability areas, and that focuses on helping clients manage and leverage their information. AIM capability areas – Information Delivery, Data Management & Architecture, Performance Management Technologies, and Advanced Analytics Enablement.

Qualifications

Required:
Education: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science / MCA / M.Sc / MBA1-6 years of experience in Data Warehouse solutionsMust have participated in the build and test phase of Informatica Power Center ETLs.

Preferred:
Experience with setting up access roles and privileges, code page setups, appropriate ETL migration activities and scheduling jobs using Control-M or AutoSys
Experience in automation of monitoring Informatica environments using UNIX, pmrep, pmcmd and other
Creating new repositories from scratch, backup and restore
Should have experience in End of Life system verification and upgrades.
Perform regression testing and approve the overall upgrade or setup

Strong problem solving and analytical capabilitiesMentored and monitored offshore and onsite development teams with regular calls on the commonly raised issues and propose permanent fixes
