Database Administrator/Devops Engineer
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Day-to-day support of multiple production and non-production environments (ERP and non-ERP), manage and oversee database architecture, service reliability, and perform root cause analysis of software, process and service failures.
Perform Oracle database cloning, installation, configuration, patching, upgrades on Unix, Linux and Windows OS.
Implement and configure Oracle Real Application Cluster, Oracle Advanced Compression techniques, Back up and Recovery procedures, High Availability etc.
Code Deployment and configuration using Continuous Integration/Deployment Tools (Jenkins, Azure Devops) & Any of code Repositories (GIT/SVN) is a must.
Preferably having worked on at least couple scripting languages like Perl, Ant, Shell Script, Python, Maven.
Stay up to date with technology, particularly in the cloud, DevOps and continuous lifecycle areas, and leverage new technology and tools to improve ERT technology suites and systems of work
Basic SQL Server and Azure IAAS configuration and Administration tasks includes provisioning of Server, Identity and Access Management, define network policies, backups and restore techniques on Azure IAAS.

Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications – External
Experience:
4-6 years of experience working on Database technologies.
Preferably having
Primary experience in Oracle Database , Oracle Fusion middleware, Weblogic and SOA admin
Should have basic overview and knowledge of DEVOPS tools
Excellent experience in Oracle Database, Weblogic (administration, installation and configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery methods in multiple computing environments (UNIX, Linux, Windows).
Administering, monitoring and securing Oracle and MSSQL Database
Excellent experience in Devops Tools like Jenkins, GIT, SVN
Excellent experience in Change management Process towards to Production environment.
Manage Oracle Database, WebLogic, RHEL, OEL including Server Administration, Patching, Backup/Recovery, Scripting and Code Deployments.
Experience on database upgrades, installation and administration with any platform migration.
Experience in implementation and troubleshooting for Oracle RAC database.
Experience in performing core database activities like Patching, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Should have good understanding of Database Security, Encryption, Partitioning & networking.
Experience in Administration of MSSQL Server will be a Plus.
Good Knowledge on Ant/Shell/Maven, Python scripting will be a Plus to work on build deployments scripts.
Oracle certification in relevant technology will be an added advantage.
Willingness to work in 24/7 Model.
