5-8 Yrs – Zeke Scheduling with JCL knowledge for Bangalore/Chennai/Pune – US Day shift – Mon-Fri work

About this team:
The production support team at FIS consist of Mainframes, Open systems Batch scheduling, NDM: Connect Direct, CA Output Management & CA Easytrieve administration. It operates from Bangalore, Chennai, and Pune locations. It is a Level 3 team that provides Scheduling and Admin services for multiple clients hosted at data centers across the globe.

What you will be doing:
Maintain job scheduling system using tools ASG ZEKE with new/improved work procedures, test programs, systems and/or hardware/software changes and efficiency, respond to processing problems and client requests and maintain data center disaster recovery plan.

Scheduling/Defining Zeke Objects such as jobs, job streams, event rules, prompts, parameters, calendars, resources, variable tables, workstations, domains, run cycle groups

Intimate understanding of the schedule load process

Use of advanced schedule techniques to run interval scheduling (such as holiday processing)

Ability to dynamically schedule work

Use of the scheduler package for variables

Ability to create / modify JCL needed for job functions (copies, backups, restores, etc)

Ability to diagnose abends

What you bring:
5-8 Yrs of experience in ASG Zeke Scheduling with knowledge in Mainframe Scheduling Administration Output Management, JCL, MVS, TSO

Working knowledge of the components and architecture of the scheduling system

Ability to read and configure calendar functions

Ability to interpret client requests into the abilities of the scheduling tool

Ability to analyze flow for improvements

Working knowledge of applications and client processing
