• Conduct logistics network studies based on Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify and optimize ocean lane setups.

• Develop and implement the network setup for all imported parts.

• Collaborate with purchasing to secure ocean lane contracts within specified timelines.

• Ensure timely setup of trading company accounts.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of ocean and air carriers, identifying and implementing cost reduction strategies.

• Achieve all inbound logistics launch metric targets.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) to resolve shipment delays caused by carriers.

• Support inventory optimization initiatives.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of import logistics for all markets, ensuring zero line stoppages.

• Maintain expertise in ocean-related documentation.

• Demonstrate an innovative mindset regarding ocean logistics.

• Leverage knowledge of ocean transit times, ports, weather patterns, and geopolitical issues to optimize transit times and minimize disruptions.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field) required; MBA preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in ocean freight, including documentation, contract negotiation, and carrier management.

• Proven ability to develop and implement cost-effective logistics strategies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in supply chain management principles and practices.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
