About the Role

• Participates and leads configurations, implementation, and support of all cloud network systems
• Participates in a collaborative effort to manage and resolve complex DC/Cloud network problems and coordinates resolution
• Participates in incident management, asset management, change management, project management, and continuous improvement of network environment
• Manages, configures, and implements routers, switches, wireless, LB and other network systems and services. Providing Network Engineering support of production and non-production cloud environments.
• Develops wireless network infrastructures and makes recommendation on systems enhancements for optimization.
• Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
• Be aware of and follow existing network management change procedures
• Create and/or update network documentation in various systems per established process and standards

What You’ll Do

Key Accountabilities:
Technical support (Level 3) for LAN, WAN, DC services,cloud including daily operations, and engineering, life cycling, budget preparation.

• Ensure all changes go through appropriate review, change control, and acceptance before implementation
• Serve as a technical lead for hardware installation, configuration, and operational support of these networks’ routers and switches, Cloud networks.
• Plan, design and roll out new network technologies and solutions through project work and assisting in the creation or corporate standard procedures.
• Evaluate new technology and bring opportunities forward that would improve the future network architecture, performance, and network services and contribution to evolving those standards
• Provides subject matter expertise for change assessment and planning and during management of major incidents and problems
• Writes documentation specific to the allocated/defined application, system or technology environment (e.g. requirements / functional specifications, designs, build documentation)
• Perform Project Engineering including specification definition, design of solution in compliance with corporate standards, implementation, testing through to production.
• Solicits requirements and supporting data to effectively design and engineer the various networking components within the virtual hosting platforms.
• Provides input in defining Networking attributes such as performance, availability etc.

• On-call rotation with team members providing high severity incident support as needed

• Consistent support and contribution to global network design and engineering efforts
• Contribution to assigned projects
• Build and maintain relationships with global and virtual teams and third parties on network development or support issues

Who You Are

5+ years related experience in designing, planning, documenting, and implementing various LAN, WAN, LB technologies and having experience providing network support for global datacenter networks, Cloud networks.

• Hands-on technical role, requiring the ability to multitask, prioritize, and accomplish multiple concurrent projects as well as interface with other departments and management.

• Experience with BGP routing protocol on internal Enterprise networks. • Experience with eBGP to providing routing to diverse, globally connected ISPs and other autonomous systems.

• Experience in designing and implementing fault tolerant, highly available environments
• Provides authoritative technical and professional guidance to external and/or internal stakeholders
• Interacts with a typically diverse internal and external audience and is required to interpret and communicate complex information

• Understands the needs of the business and aspects of the external environment (e.g. related IT services, projects, initiatives, functions, etc.) and their impact on the own area of responsibility • Hands-on experience with at least five of the key compute, network, storage, security services, and their components VM (Windows & Linux), VNet, Configuring NSGs, and Route tables, App Gateway, Express Route, Scale sets, Azure Databricks, AKS, RBAC model, log analytics, CRP, AFD etc.

• Demonstrated experience designing and troubleshooting of network solutions with various OEM gear (Cisco, Arista, Wireless etc.,)
• Strong troubleshooting experience in distributed environments, Azure.
• The candidate must have excellent communication skills and should be able to articulate thoughts, ideas, solutions very clearly.
• Candidate must be proactive, flexible & quick learner, working independently with limited oversight and guidance.

Skills

• Superior network troubleshooting skills
• Excellent understanding of Networking and Virtualization technologies
• Cisco Certified Network expert or other comparable certification or experience
• Solid experience working with a Cisco L3 platform technology
• Solid experience working with Cisco Nexus platform (2k, 5k, 7k, and 9k etc)
• Solid experience working with routing and switching technologies such as OSPF & BGP, ISIS.
• Solid experience on cloud networking technologies would be preferred.
• Working experience on Infoblox would be added advantage.
