A maintenance administrator orders supplies and equipment as needed and performs maintenance checks on a weekly or monthly basis. The administrator follows the maintenance department’s safety rules and policies when performing his duties. Maintenance administrators also diagnose mechanical problems and find methods to correct them.

Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance

Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs

Diagnose and troubleshoot issue

Work with and maintain relationships with contracted vendors
