Purpose/Function of the role:

• Assist Global Planning Data Manager and the team in key global planning metrics report generation, analysis, and process enhancement

  Primary Responsibilities/ Duties:

• Retrieve and /or prepare various reports to support the daily operations of teams in Global Supply Planning.

• Analyze data in the business and produce actionable insight on all data

  maintained in and for the business including: understanding the raw data and the business process that contributes to it, reviewing the data, extracting the data, scrubbing the data, and thereafter generating and maintaining ad-hoc and recurring reporting from such data.

• Provide the requirements analysis and design necessary to properly understand, extract, and use such data

• Develop new analytical views, pro-actively perform ‘what if scenario’s’

• Review processes, make recommendation on enhancements

• Build, enhance & maintain dashboards / reports in Microsoft Power BI

• Support the team in material settlement process or other tasks which the team is responsible

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in data science, statistics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ensuring data integrity and consistency, understanding the facts before summarizing a story and managing timeline.

  • Ability to synthesize information and transform them into meaningful recommendations

  • Ability to see through the complicated, and find a path forward amidst uncertainty

  • Professionally driven, with a ‘can do’ attitude

  • Flexible, ability to deal with uncertainty in a challenging environment

  • Able to withstand pressure and be a collaborative team player

  • Computer skills (e.g. MS Power BI, SAP BI, Excel, Access, and SQL)
