Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Smart Reference Data Spec Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Gurugram, Haryana .

Summary

Smart Reference Data provides a consistent and robust material code and specification structure across Hatch projects and is a cornerstone to future successful integration of all Hatch’s project coding structures.

Smart Reference Data interfaces with Hatch design tools and provides a foundation for Hatch use of Smart Materials to plan and control the definition, acquisition, and movement of material throughout the project lifecycle

Duties and responsibilities:

• SRD Spec Engineer will be responsible for developing, Integrating and maintaining Specs in SRD.

• Responsible for working with onshore teams and technical lead to understand business requirements and design specifications and develop specification accordingly in SRD.

• Development of Pipe Supports for modeling in 3D plant design applications.

• Development of specs for instruments and piping specialty items in SRD.

• Development of specs for Civil, Electrical, Equipment etc. in SRD CMS module.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively function in a team environment.

  Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree.

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in writing specs in SRD and Integrating to Open/Plant /S3D/PDMS/PDS etc.

• Proficient with SRD and SRD+.

• Spec writing experience with any major 3D design application Open plant/ S3D/ PDMS/ PDS/ CADWorx/ Autoplant.

• Knowledge of Piping Materials, Codes & Standards.

• Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple requests.

• Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  Good to have:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Piping Engineering preferred or should have relevant experience in Engineering Consultancy.
