Overview
As a Product Manager (Payor), you will be required to
Provide Product Ownership oversight and direction to engineering teams to ensure delivery of features related to the various Member Enrollment & Claims adjudication tasks for US HealthCare Claims Adjudication processing software
Lead backlog grooming to decompose stories and enable estimation.
Understand the business objectives and rationales behind high level product features; analyze and translate them into story maps that can drive the agile development process
Communicate with key stakeholders, including Customers, Professional Services, and Cloud Operations to clarify requirements
Work within assigned engineering scrum team to develop, test, document, accept, and release specific product features
Communicate back to the product management team about issues, challenges, and risks related to the engineering process on assigned product features
Demonstrate completed product features to both internal and external key stakeholders
Participate in Go To Market activities as deemed necessary
Lead internal training and knowledge transfer for key product features
Perform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII
At ease with product performance and scalability target metrics. Can understand, author and track stories on the same.
Requirements
Required Experience
3+ years’ experience as a Product/Business Analyst in a SaaS-based, Agile/Scrum technology company preferably on Member enrollment & Claims adjudication workflow for the US healthcare Payer software product
Experience with analyzing and writing complex database queries, Java/J2EE based software development and proven track record in understanding product management processes (Agile, Scrum, requirements etc.)
Clear thinking and the ability to translate ideas, concepts, context, and business or technical rationale into written and/or presentation format for a variety of internal or external audiences
Ability to lead teams and customers through ambiguity
Strong interpersonal skills. People like working with you

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, or healthcare
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for product management and learning
Proven business acumen and domain knowledge in the US healthcare insurance industry in general and in the Member enrollment and Claims adjudication related business workflows in particular
Nice to Haves
Master’s degree in Business Administration
Experience working with or in ACO/IDN, hospital, or health system
Experience with government plans/program such as Medicare, Medicaid
