We are looking for an IT developer to support the HPE Pointnext software solutions supporting parts supply chain, parts order management and customer warranty entitlement functions. We are looking for an experienced IT developer/analyst who researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. The candidate will focus on maintaining system stability and performance, and provide level 4 support to resolve business problems. This position will require skills of both a developer and solution analyst. This role will provide technical expertise to support and develop existing production solutions. How you’ll make your mark:

• You will implement SAP solutions applying functional and technical knowledge of SAP tools, systems and processes
• You will apply deep technical knowledge of ABAP, FIORI and related technical tools and techniques on various SAP applications such as ECC and S4.
• You will partner with solution delivery from external software vendors and System Integrators, ensuring adherence to established SLA’s
• You will participate in the Business Requirements review, solution design and implementation of the IT solution for cross functional projects
• You will collaborate with business users and stakeholders, ensure timely communications to all business stakeholders
• You will drive strategic and creative problem solving. Performs solution design.
• You will use formal system implementation methodologies during project prep, requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment.
• You will support and enhance existing SAP Pointnext Services business solutions supporting Orders and Contracts, Materials Management, Supply Chain, and Advisory & Professional Services with latest coding techniques in ABAP.

About You:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in IT / Engineering or related discipline with over 3+ years of experience implementing SAP solutions in a technical role.
• You have strong experience in SAP technical areas using ABAP in one or more core SAP modules; Material Management (Orders, Logistics and Procurement), Sales and Distribution (Logistics outbound/revers).
• You have a minimum 1-2 full life cycle global implementations including hands-on design and development with ECC and S4.
• You have experience, or familiarity with implementing solutions using ……Dynpro, Reports, Enhancements, Object Oriented programming, BADI/BAPI, User-exits, Smart Forms, SAP Script, ALE/EDI IDOCs, SOAP/REST Web Services, QRFCs, WebDynpro Applications, Fiori, Optimized Database programming, AMDP, ODATA services etc.
• You have experience with SD Pricing User Exits, Enhancements, VOFM Routines is preferred.
• You have significant experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex applications, deep knowledge in data model and parallel processing of various SAP applications and table structure is essential.
• You have knowledge of basic system administration tasks such as database analysis, tracing issues, identifying performance bottlenecks is required.
• You have exposure to SAP implementation methodologies and modern software development methodologies is required.
• You have advanced understanding of software test methodologies, and experience with testing automation tools is a plus
• You have exposure to several SAP modules and ability to create test data with assistance in Sales & Distribution, Material Management and FI modules are of great value.
• You have demonstrated eagerness to learn new techniques and methods, follow lead and achieve results.
• You have high internal drive/self-initiative; Sound analytical and problem solving skills.
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills of complex and technical concepts. Demonstrates strong command of the English language.
