H&M Hiring for Transport Coordinator at Thane, Maharashtra, India Full Time

In the role of Transport Coordinator, you will be coordinating the daily transport operations for India. The role will require you to have a transport operational background, but also to be able to bridge that knowledge into commercial areas. You will be driving and improving both online and retail transportation to achieve the best outcome for the H&M customer foremost. Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day transport operations with focus on the transport coordination between H&M and contracted carriers – retail and online
• Carrier relations with structured follow up meetings together with the carrier’s operational departments and teams to secure the short- and long term KPIs
• Develop and implement initiatives to deliver conscious approaches, efficiency, reduced costs, and excellent levels of service. Analyze reasons for deviations between actual results and SLA to initiate actions.
• Effective collaboration with Transport operations manager, inbound, outbound managers, area controllers, store colleagues, 3PL partners and carriers
• Monitoring and acting on DC SLA, Transport costs, NPS transport, Transport ops service level (for H&M internal customers)

Qualifications

To be successful as a Transport Coordinator, we believe you have a pro-active mindset, create scalable solutions independently. You are an inspirational communicator, coordinator and networker with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills (multicultural environment). In addition you have the below key skills :

• High ability to deal with ambiguity and handle changing priorities, to effectively prioritize, to multitask, and to use good judgment in pressure situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, can derive meaningful insights from data into actionable points
• Deep expertise in operational transport processes to serve online and stores
• Strong understanding of business needs from sales side for online and stores
• Pronounced transport focus and commercial sense to best serve requirements

This is a full-time position, reporting to the Retail Online Transport Operations Lead for India.

This position is based at the DC in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, India.
