Your Role and Responsibilities
Secure compliance approval, maintain archives and upload to the Wealth Enhancement Group website for media appearances and recurring owned media.
Responsible for tracking public relations opportunities and inclusions (whether broadcast, print, podcast) and track key metrics in PR Tracker spreadsheet.
Pull results from source files/systems and regularly update External Communications metrics graphs in Excel and PowerPoint.
Draft social copy to promote media appearances, recurring owned media posts, and blog content. Research recommended hashtags and accounts/follows to tag to improve reach and engagement.
Social media platforms include LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
Draft press releases for upcoming M&A announcements
Draft internal announcement for key advisor award recommendations, including qualification criteria, application process and deadlines.
Draft Newsroom posts related to awards won by advisors and the firm.
Basic editing of post-production audio and video files leveraging Wistia or similar user-friendly editing tools.
Work with the Creative team on updates to marketing collateral and employee bios as awards are won.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Ability to read, write and edit proficiently in US business English for social media posts, press releases, newspaper columns, website Newsroom articles, etc.
Resource must be able to work within team project management and approval process leveraging Marketing department tools:
Project management tool, Wrike
Compliance approval tools, Laserfiche and LPL ComplianceMax
Salesforce CMS for website posts
Wistia for uploading multi-media files
Otter.ai for radio show transcription
Screen recording tool (once confirmed) to capture recurring television segments
Merkle Schema Markup Generator for SEO data optimization within website
Available for some meetings during business hours (8a – 5p Eastern Time)
Ability to work independently based on written project briefs, outlines, transcriptions or examples provided by WEG.
Able to do research on financial planning topics online or via provided materials.
Comfortable clarifying project strategy/scope via collaboration tools or meetings.
Ability to work remotely and communicate efficiently with team members and complete brief assignments overnight
Familiar with US and Global Investing topics and industry language
Highly organized, able to prioritize work and manage projects and assignments independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in AI writing tools (Grammarly, ChatGTP, Jasper AI)
