Your Role and Responsibilities

Provide MQ administrations support to multiple applications on different platforms in CIO Hybrid Cloud Domain Should be capable to collaborate with the current Infrastructure & middleware team.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
MQ Server Administration

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

6–9 years of increasing knowledge of at least two technical skill core modules to include Operating Systems (AIX , Red Hat Linux , and Windows) and Middleware (MQ, WAS, Datastage and DB2)

Basics of automation/service refinement using principles of devops and automation.

Understand fundamentals of version upgrades and/or cloud migration.

Basics of ITIL/process knowledge (SLA’s/KPI’s).

Knowledge of ticketing and monitoring tool.

Knowledge of agile principles and scrum practices.

Knowledge and use of metrics and other objective measures.

Knowledge of infrastructure compliance and structures to ensure they meet industry standards

Should have demonstratable experience developing/deploying automation tools and techniques, preferably Ansible or Devops or AIOPs or Powershell.

Develop playbooks and do process refinement to streamline processes and shorten problem resolution time.

Should have a positive attitude and a growth mindset.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

4 + years of industry experience in a customer facing role

You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies

Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work

Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management

Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
