Job Purpose:
Operate & maintain database administration tasks including performance tuning, troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Install and update preferred database and corresponding application tools for all users
Evaluate database software purchases with requisite cost and security considerations
Create secure database storage structures with required user backups
Modify database structures as and when required by the organization
Set up user accounts and access rights for different users
Debug issues and malfunctions with preferred database via root cause identification
