ABOUT THE ROLE OVERVIEW:
Reports to Amazon Project Lead

Executes Amazon listing & storefront copy

Uses company tools to communicate with the team daily– Gmail, Jira marketing workboard & Slack online workspace

Works with lead copywriter & SEO software to include SEO keywords & optimize all written assets

Joins team in weekly update meetings via Zoom

May be asked to do other small writing tasks which will be mentored by the Lead Copywriter

DAY TO DAY DUTIES:
Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy for amazon.com & inhhair.com while maintaining the tone of the brand (you will do product research to ensure the copy is “on brand” and appropriate for the listing)

Research & incorporate SEO keywords into copy for e-commerce searchability

Study Amazon guidelines thoroughly & ensure new and existing copy is in line with Amazon’s style guidelines

Adapt quickly to constantly changing internal processes

Write product titles listings, proposals, A+ text, product inserts, brand stories, storefront text, and other specialty projects using best practices

Manage multiple projects and complete tasks on time—never miss a deadline

Collaborate frequently with other departments

Communicate quickly and succinctly with etiquette and professionalism

Receive and apply feedback from peers, editors, and brand partners

Perform other duties as needed

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE:
Experience in Copywriting

Amazing English Grammar and Experience with Marketing Writing

Amazon copywriting experience is an asset

Be able to research products, keywords, and amazing attention to detail

Hardworking with a can-do attitude

Responsive to communications & feedback

Highly organized and operations driven

Equally as happy working independently as on a team

Must be able to meet deadlines

• This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup

QUALIFICATIONS:
Copywriting: 1 year (Required)

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

US work authorization (Preferred)

100% Remote (flexible hours but must be willing to adjust some hours to PST)
