Jubilant FoodWorks Limited (JFL/Company) is part of Jubilant Bhartia group and is one of India’s largest food service Company, with a network of 1760 Domino’s Pizza restaurants across 387 cities (as of Dec 31, 2022). The Company has the exclusive rights to develop and operate Domino’s Pizza brand in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

At present, it operates in India, and through its subsidiary companies’ in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Jubilant FoodWorks also enjoys exclusive rights to develop and operate Dunkin’ restaurants in India and Popeyes restaurants in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. The Company currently operates 24 Dunkin’ restaurants across 8 Indian cities and 12 Popeyes restaurants in Bengaluru. (as of Dec 31, 2022).

JFL has entered into the Chinese cuisine segment with its first owned restaurant brand, ‘Hong’s Kitchen’ and has 12 Hong’s kitchen restaurant across 4 cities in India (as of Dec 31, 2022). Key Responsibilities:

• To support organization on Licensing & compliance for business operations and expansions.
• To supervise due diligence for new sites and to provide business resolutions in view of applicable state/central regulations for business expansion in India.
• To support cross functional teams in resolution of regulatory issues/challenges from state or central bodies i.e. governing affairs of Food & Beverages industry.
• To facilitate smooth business operations in compliance of applicable laws, rules & regulations for existing and new business units of the organization.
• Assessment of licensing requirements and updates on all amendments, notifications, laws, rules and regulations for all regions. Knowledge of E- licenses and the opportunities to use the platform on Ease of doing business initiatives by State & Central governments.
• To conduct market assessments on regulatory requirements and compliance matrix for new business opportunities like new cities, new business formats.
• To support business development team on due diligence process for new sites and assessment of new sites on regulatory requirements.
• To assesses the challenges of unique properties and to improve the process for resolution of complexities of the properties and timely delivery of site for store openings.
• To support legal team in incorporating relevant clauses in LOI /MOU /Agreements for safeguarding organization interest on regulatory challenges for new business sites /formats.
• To support Quality Assurance and Supply chain teams on guiding compliances under Food Safety regulations and Legal metrology laws etc.
• To help operations team on maintaining compliances for store operations and handling regulatory inspections for uninterrupted business operations.
• To develop network with local trade associations and bodies like RAI/NRAI/FICCI / Market Associations for supporting emerging opportunities for the organization under ease of doing business initiatives through government bodies.
• To maintain mechanism on handling of consumer disputes, litigation, notices, Summons, challans, etc. and to support operation and cross functional teams on applicable provisions of laws, interpretation of laws and to develop mechanism for resolution of these issues on summons, notices at pre-litigation stage for avoiding these cases against signatories/company.
• To maintain relationship with government bodies and ministries for assessing business threats /challenges in view of upcoming regulations, laws applicable to business /products etc.
• To evaluate processes on compliance and to keep tab on providing best compliance practices for the organization in view of emerging business expansions and AOP for the company.
• To maintain effective budgeting for the function for controlling cost for the organization.

Qualification, experience & skills:

• Qualification & Experience – Graduate with minimum 10 Years of Experience in Reputed company
