Your Role and Responsibilities

Provide on call supports for issues,

Install, upgrade and maintain the Endevor software,

Apply corrective services to the Endevor software,

Provide or obtain new versions and releases, upgrades, replacements or customization of the Endevor software in accordance with other software maintenance schedule,

Support the customization of the Endevor procedures or script for supporting the application deployment,

Participate to problem tracking/problem creation.

Participate to diagnosis,

Support incidents and problems resolution with appropriate teams or software provider

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Endevor Product Installation, Upgrade and CustomizationThe activities include new version of Product installation, performing product upgrades for the version with end of support announced and complete customization.

Complete Endevor inventory MaintenanceComplete maintenance of the inventory structure that includes ENVIRONMENT, SYSTEM, SUBSYSTEM, TYPE and ELEMENTS.

Endevor control dataset maintenanceMaintaining the Endevor control datasets that inlcude MCF, Element Catalog, Package control, ACMROOT, ACMXREF and PARMLIB.

Processor Creation and updatesNew Endevor Processor creation and updating existing proceessors which includes coding changes.

Endevor Tables customizationActivities related to Endevor product table customization and enhancement that includes USER EXITS.

REXX, CLIST, SKELETON, PANELS, MESSAGESActivities that include creating new user modified PANELS, REXX, SKELETON, PANELS, MESSAGES and maintenance of existing ones.

COBOL Compilers implementation in EndevorUpdating Prcoessors in Endevor to support new version of COBOL compilers as and when required.

ASM and PL1 Compiler implementation in EndevorUpdating Prcoessors in Endevor to support new version of compilers as and when required.

Library maintenanceThis includes maintenance of both Product libraries and application libraries that include SOURCE, LOAD, OBJECT, DEBUG etc… The file format includes PDS, PDSE, VSAM, ELIBS.

Product maintenanceSupport of product maintenance and house keeping that includes regular backups of complete inventory.

SHIPMENT maintenanceMaintaining the SHIPMENT destination of different LPARSand related libraries that includes NDM.

Enhancements and OptimizationCustomization of new enhancements based on the business requirements that includes utilizing the existing product features and creation of new features internally. Optimization of the product to maintain the stability of system.

Code Promotion activitiesSupport all code promotion related activities based on the release calendar and various pre-defined jobs.

Package, Foreground and Batch related activitiesPerforming actions against elements that include ADD, GENERATE, MOVE, TRANSFER, RETIREVE, ARCHIVE and DELETE.

SupportProviding support for all application teams, SCM as and when issues occur and maintaining the stability to ensure there is no outage and impact in the system and maintenance of batch jobs related to Endevor.

CA7 Job setupCreating new jobs and setting up the workflow in CA7 to support code promotion activities based on customer requirement.
