Full Job Description
Key Deliverables / Responsibilities
Site surveillance (spot check, Controlling the repair rate, conduct Tool box talks)
Managing and controlling the welding consumable issue, Training the welding foreman & welding performance monitoring.
Overseeing the activities of Welder qualification and updating the same in the ERP system
Qualification of welding procedures to various codes of fabrication and meet the requirements of customer specification
Standardization, procurement and Testing of Consumables
Trouble shooting on shop floor and failure analysis
Monitoring of welding quality and analyzing repair to take corrective action
Key relationships
Internal to organization: Manufacturing, Engineering
Procurement, QA
External to organization: TPI, Customer, Vendor/Supplier

Understanding of Codes and standard requirements (ASME/AWS D1.1/API) and customer specification
