The Role

In this role the incumbent will be collaborating with project design team, other regulatory compliance experts and regional business units around the world. There will be an opportunity to participate in cross-functional projects for new product development and current product lifecycles. Proven track record in Safety, EMC, Radio, Environmental domains and mechanisms of certifications acquisitions will be critical for the success in the role.

What you will do:

• Support the commercial launch as per the marketing roadmap.

• Prepare at earlier stage the project team by creating general recommendations/ guidelines

• Participate in project leading the regulatory certifications for south Asia.

• Work closely with the third-party laboratories or government agencies to acquire the needed certifications.

• Proactively stay up to date on the standards, directives and regulations applicable and/or related to our products to keep the products ranges conform.

• Inform/educate stake holders of any forecasted evolutions/changes to the standards, directives and regulations and lead associated projects.

• Assist the region customer service or trade/importation services to support the business in regions.

• Prepared and able to take remedial/corrective actions during product lifecycle.

• Ensure/maintain the safety conformity of products, by managing regular audits of the products and the processes (internal external audit, design production factory).

• Develop good relationship with third-party laboratories and maintain an efficient customer/supplier collaboration (responsiveness, cost, delivery quality). Case by case seek for reliable new partners.

• Pro-actively propose improvements in certifications scope, process, partnerships to increase our customer satisfaction & to reduce our time to market.

  What you need to have:

• BS Degree in Sciences (preferably Electrical Engineering or International commerce)

• +5 years of experience in global market access

• Strong ability to work in international cross functional teams.

• Strong ability to communicate and to exchange (meeting, present, write, call) with many various stakeholders

• English language is a must and one or two other languages would be appreciated (Hindi, Korean, any other Asian language)

• Capacity to conduct screening of worldwide legislations and read and interpret regulation texts

• He/she will embrace fully the responsibility and accountability for the results of his/her job

• Rigor of analysis, sense of details, capacity to adapt and curiosity to learn

• Will require travelling to Safety, EMC, Radio laboratories, customer sites, or Markem-Imaje offices. Some travel may be required
