Job Description

Summary:
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to work at a senior level position in our Enterprise Business Intelligence Engineering team to maintain and enhance our existing BO universes, reports, and processes. This position requires strong knowledge data modeling and analysis, as well as knowledge in BO areas such as installations, administrations, configurations, universe design, universe maintenance/troubleshooting, and to a lesser extent report design and development. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to Business Intelligence Engineering team maintenance and development and activities.

Job Responsibilities:
Admin/Deploy : JD

Must have good experience in deployment activities like software upgrade, Patch , Support pack installation

Knowledge and experience using Query builder, instance manager, Auditing, Promotion Management and Monitoring

Good knowledge on User/group creation and assigning right securities to them

Hands on experience on UNIX

Server and cluster maintenance , Node creation

Tune the platform performance

Platform customization activities

Must have the knowledge to troubleshoot the issue and solve

Skills:
BOBJ, Business Objects,4.x,cmc,performance tuning, query builder, server maintenance, users and groups, security, promotion, installation, upgrade, node creation,migration,CMS,cluster,AdminTools,unix,monitoring,publication,networking

Education/Experience:
BE/B Tech
