Senior Role RuPay Product
Experience: 15+ years Education: BE/B.Tech + MBA / MBA from a reputed institute
Key Responsibilities
As the Head of Product – RuPay, you will be responsible for developing and executing the product strategy to drive growth and revenue for the business. (Products – Credit, Debit, Prepaid) – Retail, Commercial and Business across segments.
You will lead a team of product managers, designers, and developers to create innovative products that meet the needs of our customers and drive business objectives.
A deep understanding of card-on-device tokenization, EMVCo standards, and experience as a Tech Product Manager is essential.
Develop and implement the product strategy for the RuPay, including product roadmap, feature prioritization, and go-to-market plans.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, compliance, and legal, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product management.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new product opportunities and drive product innovation.
Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, including product requirements, design, development, testing, and launch.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the RuPay products and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to understand customer feedback and ensure that products meet customer needs and expectations.
Monitor industry and regulatory changes to ensure that RuPay products remain compliant and up-to-date.
Drive the development of the product roadmap, short-term and longterm strategy for allotted products considering customer demand and analytics.
Decide the overall product offering for these products to increase its top line and transaction volume.
Collaborate with business teams to decide the product costing and pricing.
Drive feature enhancements for allotted products to implement future product lines and ensure timely development of these features.
Undertake regular meetings with external parties (government and regulatory bodies, merchant partners, banks, etc.) to understand product issues and performance and ideate on ways for improvement.
Ensure that business development and operations teams are aware of any feature enhancement and receive relevant adequate training. Decide the specifications, norms, and user guidelines for these products.
Key Skills and Experience Required
A deep understanding of card-on-device tokenization, EMVCo standards, and experience as a Tech Product Manager is essential.
Proven track record of developing and launching successful credit card products.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing product development lifecycle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Deep understanding of card-on-device tokenization and EMVCo standards.
