Role Overview

Senior Manager – Social & Content to drive brand storytelling, content strategy, and social media engagement for Nykaa Beauty Owned Brands. The role involves overseeing onsite and offsite content building, product marketing, influencer collaborations, and brand campaign execution to enhance brand visibility and engagement across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Offsite Content Building (Social Media & Events)

• Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute brand launches, seasonal campaigns, and collaborations to build brand affinity and engagement.
• Content Creation: Manage content for Beauty Owned Brands social pages, ensuring regular, high-quality posting and storytelling.
• Campaign Development: Conceptualize and execute shoot mood boards, talent scouting, and influencer-led campaigns.

2. Onsite Content Building (E-commerce & Performance Marketing)

• Catalogue Content Management: Oversee product descriptions, PDPs, A+ content, and banner shoots to enhance the shopping experience.
• Webcom & UI Strategy: Ensure brand positioning and aesthetic consistency on brand pages, homepages, and landing pages.
• Performance Marketing Support: Build content strategy for upper-funnel and bottom-funnel ads to optimize ROAS.
• Sale Event Visibility: Drive strong brand presence during key sale events like Pink Sale, Monthly & Category-Specific Sales.

3. Product Marketing & Brand Storytelling

• Lead seasonal campaigns (360-degree marketing) for owned brands across multiple touchpoints.
• Strategize new product launches and ensure impactful storytelling across channels.
• Work closely with the product team to align content with brand vision, packaging, and collection themes (e.g., Mistmatched, Mistmas, DOP – Swiss Vanilla)
• Collabs: Device strategies for adjacent collabs- designers, product & content collabs

4. Stakeholder & Team Management

Internal Coordination:

• Work with design & video editing teams to ensure timely delivery of creative assets.
• Collaborate with Webcom, MyNykaa for brand visibility and positioning.
• Liaise with the business team for collection notes, annotations, and packaging updates.

Team Leadership:

• Manage a team of content creators, social media specialists to execute high-quality campaigns.

Knowledge and Skill/Qualification Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in content marketing, brand strategy, and social media marketing in the beauty, personal care, or fashion industry.
• Strong understanding of digital content creation, influencer collaborations, and performance marketing.
• Experience in managing campaigns across social, e-commerce, and retail platforms.
• Knowledge of consumer behavior, audience segmentation, and brand positioning.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and business teams.
• Experience in budgeting and financial planning for campaigns.
