*Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience., *The CX verticals team at Oracle is committed on enabling our customer experience (CX) SaaS components to provide the most interactive, richest experience possible for our Communications customers. We are looking for highly technical & creative individuals to help us build and maintain the next generation of modern CX Service applications that will enable Oracle to leap ahead of the competition and become the number one cloud vendor.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building highly scalable enterprise applications on Java, J2EE technologies. Experience in Cloud Technologies and Oracle Fusion Stack will be desirable. You will need to have a deep understanding and extensive Oracle Fusion SaaS applications developing large scale, complex highly scalable, responsive UIs. We are building our offerings as Native Services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform.ResponsibilitiesScalable and Innovative Design, high-quality development of Java applications that will be delivered as SaaS Services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
Using latest JavaScript technologies, drive design and implementation for key areas of the User Interface across Oracle CX Cloud solutions
Work with architects, engineers, and product managers to help analyze customer requirements and distill the information down to specific product features.
Have a good broader business understanding and mindset, while technically leading efforts in specific areas. Make effective judgements and choices on design and roadmap based on various considerations.
Ability to work in an extremely fast paced and challenging, global environment.QualificationsExposure to delivering Software as a Service on the Cloud. Understanding and experience with various aspects of delivering a modern cloud service such as building effective monitoring hooks, robust logging etc.
Experience with a broad range of enterprise technologies Java, J2EE, JAX-RS, Jersey, Jackson, Dependency Injection Frameworks, Databases/SQL.
Excellent development experience in XML, Xquery, REST APIs, Web Services, Fusion Applications.
Deep understanding and commitment to product quality and automation, including values such as scalability, performance, reliability, code health, and maintainability.
Strong Techno-Functional Experience in working with Oracle Sales Cloud & Fusion Services.
Experience with security and SSO including deploying applications that integrate with large scale REST based services
Deep technical skills that span JSON, XML, Web 2.0, HTML5, cloud enablement and micro-services
Experience in Cloud Applications Development, CI/CD process & Docker, Kubernetes.
High quality organizational and leadership skills
