Oracle Hiring for Senior Java Consultant at MUMBAI, India Full Time

Job Description

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Java Knowledge – Strong understanding of Java/J2EE principles and practices. Java knowledge is required to write for custom code development in OSB.

Database Skills – Working experience with relational databases such as Oracle and should be able to write SQL queries, Procedures, and functions.

IDEs and Debugging – Should be comfortable in using Eclipse and Oracle JDeveloper and debug using these IDEs.

Web Services Development – Experience with building and consuming RESTful and SOAP-based services (JAX-RS, JAX-WS) and working knowledge of SOAPUI/Postman to debug/test these APIs.

Core OSB : Working Experience of

o Designing and developing complex integrations using Oracle Service Bus

o Message Processing: Experience with message processing using XSLT, XQuery, XPath, and XML.

o Oracle Fusion Middleware: Familiarity with Oracle SOA Suite and its integration with OSB.

o Integration: Hands-on experience in integrating OSB with databases (Oracle, SQL Server), ERP systems, and external services.

o Fault Handling: Knowledge of error handling and fault recovery in OSB, including building robust fault-tolerant services.

o Security: Understanding of WS-Security, authentication, authorization, and data encryption for securing OSB services.

o Development Tools: Proficiency in using JDeveloper, Eclipse, or other development tools to configure and manage OSB artifacts.

o Strong knowledge of HTTP, JMS, JDBC, and other communication protocols used in OSB.

Version Management – Basic knowledge of Version Control system like SVN, GIT, Bit-Bucket etc.

CI/CD & Devops – Should be familiar with using Jenkins, Git, etc.

Application Servers – Working experience with Applications Server preferably Weblogic

Career Level – IC2
