Abide by Ethics, Internal Controls, and safety policies as per company standards. Support the product data management, reference document generation, support to design & documentation of elevator components. Support deployment of new products and components in the department. Specifying standard products and contract specific modifications to standard base products with bills of material to meet customer needs. Creating and releasing data to traditional/customized contracts (customer orders), including changes drawing/ data wherever required. Support maintenance of engineering database (Wind-chill) Existing in co-ordination with other members of the department. Also Change management Skill. Interact with Sales and Regional teams to support order booking and technical feasibility. Support the quality systems related to contract engineering functions. Support and implement quality system like CI elements in the contract engineering function. Promote and support the Continuous Improvement Process within area of responsibility and across other BW functions. Support manufacturing teams for all products and components with technical solutions Perform specific tasks as assigned by the department head from time to time based on organization need. Perform all JDE/ERP related activities of CED. Support new product deployment and have experience to handle independently Follow EH&S rules & regulations of OTIS & implement EH&S programs & activities.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Possess a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in a large-scale engineering industry.

ANY OTHER KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES IF REQUIRES

Good Communication skill. Logical reasoning along with assertive communication and analytical skills. Exposure to problem solving tools to support quality systems. Knowledge in computer aided design drafting software is essential. Knowledge of Mechanical component designs, customization, and functionality. Exposure to Pro E software will be an added advantage. Highly motivated and able to work & sustain under pressure.
