QA-Automation Test Engineer at Bengaluru (Bangalore) Full Time

About the Role

We are seeking Senior Engineers with over 3+ years of experience in automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating and implementing automation frameworks, as well as a deep understanding of API and

database testing. Familiarity with programming scripts in Typescript/ Javascript on the Playwright Framework (preferred). As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and executing automated tests,

identifying and reporting defects, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Job Responsibilities:

● Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.

● Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.

● Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.

● Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.

● Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.

● Designing and installing software databases.

● Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.

● Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.

● Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.

● Exposure to Agile Scrum practices

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.

● Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.

● Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.

● Familiarity with programming scripts in Typescript/Javascript on Playwright Framework (preferred).

● Excellent analytical skills.

● Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.

● Good written and verbal communication skills.

● Good project management skills.
