Client is a European MNC in Chennai Job title : Assembly & Warehouse Supervisor Responsibility The overall responsibility is to supervise Assembly and Warehouse.
The responsibility includes but is not limited to:

• Run production in a safe manner for operators and machines. Set high standards for safety.
• Planning of production with cross functional team, coordinate production activities, manufacture orders to deliver on time.
• Supervise production activities in compliance with safety and security requirements.
• Be responsible for minimizing scrap through optimized use of raw material and minimizing nonconformity production.
• Supervise assembly to manufacture in right quality to avoid customer non-conformity.
• Supervise Warehouse and handling of incoming and outgoing material including incoming inspection.
• Completes orders in timely manner and coordinate delivery for on time delivery.
• Be responsible for addressing and resolving employee, process, and quality issues in a timely manner.
• Make sure operators are trained and follow procedures and instructions for production, maintenance, quality, etc.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement.
• Participate in Lean and 5S projects.
• Responsible for Capability Procedures.
• Avoid obsolete self-made items on stock.
• Ensures running of production orders and stock in warehouse are correctly reflected in ERP system.
• Packing of orders in a safe manner and to ensure material will not be damaged during transport to customer.

• Is willing to share ideas and best practices.
• Has good communication skills in English.

• Is experienced user of ERP system. Company uses Microsoft AX.
