An exciting opportunity has arisen for Data Scientist to join Rolls-Royce. You would be employed directly by Rolls-Royce Data Labs but would be based in the Bengaluru, Karnataka office.

Key Accountabilities:
Development, review, deployment and management of analytics and/or models.

Interaction with data engineers and application developers from your squad, including daily scrums, technical sync sessions etc.

Visualizations, hypotheses development & feature engineering – validation interactions with subject matter experts.

Product owner connects to gather requirements, collect feedback on delivered features and defining roadmap.

Ensuring adherence to ethics and delivery frameworks compliant to RR development practices.

Key Skills and Experience:
Degree level education in Mathematics, Scientific, Computing or Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

Relevant years of experience in developing and deploying analytics solutions and machine learning algorithms.

Hands-on knowledge of data processing and visualization libraries for example pandas, matplotlib, seaborn etc.

Clear fundamental and applied knowledge of machine learning algorithms and exposure to classification, regression and time series problems.

Domain knowledge in one of the following; gas turbine engines, aircraft engineering, airline operations or aviation maintenance repair and overhaul is highly desirable.
