SafeGuard Global Hiring for Financial Executive at Remote Full Time

The role in a nutshell:
Safeguard Payroll company specializing in Global Payroll Outsourcing with many blue-chip clients. Customers outsource payroll to safeguard to facilitate the management of multiple suppliers across the globe through one point of contact.
We are on the hunt for qualified Financial Executive to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for all Treasury functions, including Cash management, Reconciliation, Payment’s processing, financial reporting, with time management abilities as stated below:
How you will make a difference:
Managing the payment process on behalf of clients using our Payment Services to employees and 3rd Parties
Updating monthly payment run lists with scheduled deadlines to ensure all due payments are executed in a timely manner
Check for any quarterly, bi-annual, or annual payments due are included in the month due for payment
Work closely with Global Operation teams to ensure all beneficiary updates are completed, any due payment files are received to CPT in line with the payroll schedule and confirmation to Global Operations when payment instructions have been sent to clients.
Liaise with clients advising of settlement dates of funds due, chase for any funding not settled by advised settlement date and confirming to clients when funds have been received.
Managing any bank file uploads applicable to clients banking portals are done as per the agreed payroll scheduled dates.
Respond to any queries raised by clients.
Assist with assessing any PPS for new clients on-boarding our Payment Services.
Assist with ensuring all appropriate supporting payment documentation is SSAE16 compliant.
Prioritizing any urgent tasks needing completing.
What will give you an advantage:
Bachelor’s Degree
M.Com / MBA in Finance an additional benefit
1-2 years of full-time working experience
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Self-directed individual with initiative
Analytical
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Attention to detail
Professional accountancy qualification a benefit but not essential
Highly numerate and literate and high level of communication skills
Microsoft Excel to a high level and Word are essential
Highly organized
Can operate in a structured and organized way
Desirable Skills required:
Experience gained in the workplace
Accounting software
Understanding of payroll operations
You will have either a payroll/financial background
