Because it s the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve people s lives.SummaryThe ECS CTO Technology & Architecture team is responsible for creating, consolidating and driving the HEC architecture roadmap across various teams under consideration of the overall SAP business target. The team covers activities ranging from Pre-Sales support, Service Portfolio Management, evaluation of new solutions and technologies as candidates for future HEC deployments, engineering of new services and definition of architecture standards.Role:As part of the ECS CTO Technology & Architecture team you will be developing services around public cloud and infrastructure services. First priority topic is taking over the hyperscaler capability dashboard and its development.You will have the opportunity to

• work directly with AWS, AZURE, GCP and other providers on a technical level
• create products/services which are consumed by the biggest customers of SAP
• You will be able to see your impact on the company and be part of a strategic movement within SAP
• Your daily tasks will require good technical understanding, usage of the public cloud services, programming and scripting capabilities as well as a good understanding of robust and scalable concepts for services.

Role Requirements

• Strong programming experiences (Go, Java, C++, Python)
• Good understanding about software architecture and its concepts
• Some experience with infrastructure automation and knowledge of the concepts (e.g. ansible, terraform)
• Experience with CI/CD, Github and Jira
• Knowledge of scalability concepts, stability best practices etc.
• Well rounded in linux (preferred Suse or RedHat)

Optional

• Good knowledge of the SAP product portfolio and basic SAP system architecture
• Hands on experience with usage of Public Cloud Infrastructures (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Proven track record of successful software development projects
