For Sartorius Stedim India Pvt. Ltd, we are currently seeking a Cyber Security to join our team in Bangalore. In this position, you will act as a critical partner to our Information Technology team and be responsible for leading the SOC Team and deliver 24/7 uninterrupted IT Security Service to Business.

What you will accomplish together with us

• Lead the SOC team with daily operational topics.
• Need to support 24*7 shifts.
• Provide superior technical security expertise to ensure that the Security Operations Centre (SOC) is always delivering a professional service to its customers
• Conduct detailed analytical queries and investigations, identify areas that require specific attention, identify indicators of compromise (IOC) or events of interest (EOI) that need further investigation and develop use cases and rules to be developed into the SIEM platform.
• Develop and improve Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) content and all other technologies used in the team, continually refining the rules and logic to make the detection capabilities more efficient and effective
  Understanding and working knowledge of IPS platforms.
• Create and enhance internal processes and procedures
  Will be an expert in 1 or 2 key security technologies/tools globally and be part of the global SOC – Example Areas: Threat Hunting, Forensic Analysis, IPS, EDR, DLP, etc.
• SOC Specialist is responsible for reviewing alerts
• Support incident response efforts as a Cyber Security Specialist though the monitoring of system events, utilization of security tools, and application of SOC policies and procedures
• Monitor, detect & respond any potential security threats and risks to the organization, using the available technology toolset.
• Continuously improve the accuracy and relevance of our detection tools and capabilities.

What will convince us

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in network, endpoint & Cyber security, including intrusion detection and prevention
• Security Operation Center Experience
• Experience in Security Incident Response
• Knowledge of information security principles
• Have experience in SOC monitoring, working knowledge in any of the SIEM tools like ArcSight, Qradar, Splunk
• Strong log analysis, deduction, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand and investigate traffic packet captures
• Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix team setting as well as independently with minimal error and guidance
• Fluent business English skills (at least B2/1 level)
