The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Azure & on-prem servers. This includes configuring and maintaining virtual machines, storage, virtual networks, and load balancers. Additional knowledge of Containers, Windows Virtual Desktop & Automation is more desirable.

• Managing and monitoring Azure infrastructure to meet customer’s business needs including computing, storage, networking, virtual machine scale sets, containers, etc.

• Deploying workloads to meet customers’ business needs.

• Securing resources to meet customers’ desired level of security including enforcing least privilege access policies to protect data in motion and at rest.

• Work with other teams to maintain the health and performance of the Azure environment.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Monitor all aspects of the environment for potential issues or risks – Monitor security threats to ensure that vulnerabilities are identified and addressed in a timely manner.

• Configure and maintain virtual machines, storage, virtual networks, and load balancers

• Troubleshoot issues with the Virtual Machines running in Azure and Virtual Networks connecting to Azure

• Installing patches and making configuration changes as needed

• Experience in Windows/Linux/Vmware administration

• Create backups of the Virtual Machines running in Azure

• Monitor the performance of Virtual Machines running in Azure

• Monitor the availability of storage resources in Azure

• Monitor logs from the Virtual Machines running in Azure

• Provide technical assistance to customers with questions about their Microsoft Azure subscription

• Ready to work in 24X7 rotational shifts

Qualifications:

• Overall 1 to 2 years experience in Cloud Technologies and particularly in Azure / windows /linux /VMware

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any equivalent degree.
