You will be part of the team developing systems and clinical tools that supports a wide range of personalized protocol driven and centrally supported Oncology services. Your engineering skills will allow you to contribute in the various activities of the software development process such as analysis, design, planning and testing of new products.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team in Pune. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for development of Healthcare Interoperability products.
We closely collaborate with other engineering locations of Varian, mainly at our R&D sites in Pune and United States.

Job Requirements
Qualifications Required: BE, B Tech, MSc, MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science
Experience (Years): 1-4 years
Technologies required:
Development skills in Java.
Strong fundamentals of software design (OOPS, SOLID Principles, REST, OOAD, SOA, and Web Services etc.)
Experience working with Databases like MS SQL/MySQL
Description
Works closely with other developers and testers to coordinate on development plan.
Maintains engineering documentation as per Varian defined development process.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge
Strong programming skills, preferably in Java.
Ability to demonstrate solid Object-Oriented Programming knowledge.
Good written and verbal communication (English), and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on assigned tasks under tight time constraints.
Ability to do computer tasks with minimal supervision.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle.
