  POSITION SUMMARY

  The BIM Coordinator will work with the Manager of Systems Integration to implement 3D System Integration for View. The primary focus is to understand the design requirements, oversee day-to-day operations, work with Project Managers, and meet the on-time deliverables for a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a wide variety of projects. Project types include Commercial, Healthcare, Aviation, Higher Education, and Multi-tenant Residential buildings.

  ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solid knowledge of Architectural Design, Revit model and content management.

• Produce Accurate Revit 3D modeling of Electrical system components using View standards.

• Strong Revit & BIM knowledge with an emphasis on project development, model management & coordinating with MEP contractors.

• Extensive experience with Autodesk Revit/ BIM & Navisworks to identify system component clashes with other trade models.

• Ability to run Dynamo scripts developed by the View team.

• Preparation of shop drawings and extraction of Bill of Materials, and wiring diagrams as required for installation.

• Follow View BIM standards and ensure timely project delivery.

• Ability to lead a team and pay attention to detail.

• Commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Create and maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external project teams.

• Exceptional skills in relationship management, communication, and electrical problem-solving abilities and leadership skills

  DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5-7 plus years of working experience in an AEC industry (focus on electrical) or a Design-Build Contractor

• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks, BIM 360 Suite & Microsoft Office Suite

• Revit API and Dynamo Visual basic scripting knowledge is a plus.

• Preferred experience in Electrical design and construction installation methods.
