What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and has deep experience in building highly available and highly secured applications. As an Applications Architect, you will design, implement, collaborate, and own key applications and services for customer experience platform.

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

• Understand and own the domain/services/components/applications

• Understand the applications and infrastructure landscape

• Understand the current system / application architectures

• Build a roadmap for architecture improvements

• You will collaborate within the team and with cross-functional teams

• You will be the SME for the application and services of the domain you own

• You will be the go-to person for complex issues in application or platform (PAAS, IAAS etc)

• Map business capabilities to tech platforms

• You will review and establish best practices in system design, coding, agile development

What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

• You will design/architect complex applications (web, non-web), microservices using the modern application development tools like Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Sql, containers, automation tools

• Design and develop highly scalable features/services and ensure availability of 99.99%

• You will be the go-to person in solving technically complex issues

• Establish best software development practices

• Carry out POCs / product evaluations and provide recommendations with detailed assessment

• Ability to present ideas, architecture proposals of large scale systems to senior leadership, cross-functional teams, groups

• Lead initiative that is cross-functional across multiple CXS domains and provide high level architecture blueprint to respective technical lead and PO/SOs

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Developers to find the best possible solution possible

• Continuously improve the state of existing system architecture

• Track and maintain key engineering metrics within sub domain aligning with domain architecture view.

• Perform engineering activities for performance tuning and deep monitoring of applications and services

• Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Proficient in new and emerging technologies.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills; ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.

• Apart from the above, you will also contribute towards platform and service stability, mentoring junior developers, innovation, participating in hackathons, tech talks etc
