What you will be doing: We are looking for a (Senior) Full-stack DevOps Developer to drive the further development of our software portfolio. Especially, you will contribute to the ongoing development of Avaloq Offering X – the heart and soul of offering management at Avaloq. As such, we expect you to: * Closely collaborate with the Product Owner, Business Analysts and other Software Engineers * Design, develop, maintain, and release solutions within the team’s responsibility * Improve and optimize existing functionalities and/or support in shaping the backlog * Develop and maintain automated tests * Manage the continuous integration, continuous deploy process and operations of the solutions * Take ownership and responsibility for your area of expertise * Work and contribute in / to an agile environment, helping us improve our processes and practice What you should bring to the table: Technology is constantly evolving and this is what we also expect from our people. However, to start with, you will need to bring the following skills and traits with you to be successful in the offered role: * 5+ years of software development experience in full stack development and responsive applications * High level of proficiency in developing full-stack applications using: e.g., JavaScript, React js, CSS, Knex js, REST APIs, Objection js, Node js, SQL, Cypress js * Good knowledge and understanding of CI/CD and Kubernetes / Docker (on RedHat Openshift) * Tool experience with Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, JIRA/Confluence, Gradle, SonarQube and SQL Developer/PG Admin * Strong conceptual skills and analytical mind with a structured and autonomous approach to work on complex technical problems, including strong debugging and investigation skills * Team-oriented, willing to contribute and help other team members in order to successfully achieve team goals * Excellent communication skills in English for co-ordination with teams located globally across our offices You will get extra points for the following * Additional know-how in other technologies / tools in both development and monitoring spaces * Knowledge / experience in integrations with Microsoft products (e.g. Dynamics CRM, PowerBI) * Demonstrated success with quality assurance concepts, test plan/test case definition/UAT and good eyes for UI/UX * Interest for the banking business Now let’s talk about perks and compensation We offer competitive base salaries and if you prove to be a superstar, you might be entitled to an extraordinary achievement reward.
