Travel Associate (Ground Transportation Coordinator)

As a Travel Associate (Ground Transportation Coordinator), you will
Be focal point for all local ground transport request, dealing with multiple vendors, and supporting client employees & contractors from across the globe. You must be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with various client teams, as well as building strong relationships with the vendors. You must be able to provide a high level of service to the client employee traveller. This role will contribute to the advancement of client India ground transportation program for business travellers by providing operational and administrative support, also –
Serve as the primary point of contact for Internal customers – domestic and international, timely resolution of customer service inquires
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholder groups, providing support for reporting request, and invoice recovering
Ensure the supplier vehicles and drivers operate with the highest levels of safety, adhering to all local and national regulations and in compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.
Coordinate and oversee all ad hoc transportation requests – which may include VIP rentals and support.
Carry out routine vehicle inspections as per approved check list
Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as required
Advise any kind of operational disruption, incident/accident immediately to the Manager and ensure incident reports are circulated within 24 hrs
Ensure that the vendor implements a proactive, planned and structured approach to the maintenance of fleet vehicles and ensuring all vehicles used are fit and the employee experience is of a high standard.
To take the lead in resolving unforeseen problems as they arise ensuring appropriate resolution of these and to utilize the learning to plan for future similar scenarios
To work in a safe and effective manner at all times
Other duties and program support as assigned
About you
Minimum of 5 years’ experience
Ability to multi-task is a requirement of this role
Travel industry experience would be an advantage
Excel and keynote working skills
Must be fluent in both verbal and written English
Strong written and verbal communication skills, as you must be able to communicate effectively with all employees from across the regions.
