Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:

• As a Digital Business Automation Architect, you will apply your deep expertise in engaging with top technology architects in Global Systems Integrators that work with IBM. Aside from partner facing role, you will apply your deep domain expertise to propose and build innovative and repeatable offerings for GSI that are powered by IBM products. In addition, will apply your deep domain expertise across the entire IBM portfolio , identify gaps and work with product teams to build solutions that partners can take to market using Cloud Pak for Business Automation and Cloud Pak for Integration.
• Candidates will be individual contributors responsible for overall leadership, build and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation. Will use their in-depth knowledge of IBM Digital Business Automation/Integration products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes. They will also possess expertise in any one of the hyper scale cloud platforms along with Kubernetes-based container platforms. An individual with a strong entrepreneurial attitude who can ideate, collaborate & innovate, working with both partners as well as internal engineering, design, and offering teams. This individual will be a self-starter who can assist with market research, identify and complete use cases, and develop solutions & requirements around Digital Business Automation Platforms.

What you’ll do:

As a Digital Business Automation Architect for Global Systems Integrator Labs, you will

• Contribute to driving of revenue and margin with GSIs by providing consultancy on best practices of implementing solutions based on IBMs Digital Business Automation platform offerings
• Influence technical experts in Global Systems Integrators to adopt IBM Cloud Pak for Business Autiomation products
• Deliver strategy and technical overviews on Cloud Pak for Business Automation portfolio
• Develop proof of concepts and provide guidance to other architects
• Work with IBM product teams to understand and influence roadmaps and provide feedback from partners
• Create or implement assets that can scale across GSIs
• Understanding of domain/industry/technology/market challenges / competition space – come up with ideas/workarounds/solutions
• Innovate in the technology area
• Identify gaps in product/portfolio and come up with related solutions(what is viable/what works)
• Provide product feedback to the product managers
• Keep upto date with product changes/roadmap
• Develop / Harvest reusable collaterals / assets / accelerators leveraging cross GSI experience.
• Contribute to requests from GSI vertical teams/Support specific GSIs on part time basis
• Define/build/execute learning workshops

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 9+ years of relevant experience in Digital Business Automation, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process Management, Data Capture, and related technologies.
• 6+ years of experience in architecture design, deployment and implementation experience
• 2+ years of experience in deploying workloads in a cloud (IaaS) environment
• Extensive experience in developing solutions in Workflow and Content Management using IBM DBA Offerings such as IBM Business Process Manager, IBM Case Manager , and IBM FileNet Content Manager, Robotic Process Automation, and related technologies
• Experience with IBM Datacap, including exposure to Cognitive capture solutions
• Experience developing with languages like Java, Typescript, nodejs
• Experience developing with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, or other
• Excellent Communication, customer facing and technical leadership skills
• Ability to pick up new areas like AI and work hands on in developing proof of concepts
• Able to provide technical guidance to a team of lesser experienced professionals

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Exposure to mutilple Industry Domains where you have implemented or done deep consulting.
• Exposure to machine learning, chat bot or AI platforms
• Deep expertise with at least one of IBM DB2, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server database
• Exposure to areas like new solution innovation and pre-sales
• Exposure to other Automation, Process management, Integration platforms would be an added advantage.
