Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct RFPs/RFIs/ RFQs
• Contract Creation, Renewals and Amendments
• Supplier Management and Performance
• Support queries & all operational activities from internal stakeholder
• PO Management
• Amends or closes Purchase Orders
• Support supplier invoicing issues
• Handle queries received from Business Requestors, Suppliers, Procurement Managers and from Accounts payable
• Escalation management
• Achieving savings and all business metrics
• Ability to manage priorities, timelines, and tasks in order to accomplish goals.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
• Compliance to all procurement processes
• Good interpersonal interaction and ability to work well with the team, internal stakeholders, and suppliers
• Positive Attitude, Planning, Curiosity, Self-discipline
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Have a minimum Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 – 4 years of end to end Procurement experience ideally within a large organization and a fast-paced environment
• Be able to engage diverse internal business unit clients proactively, negotiate desired positions with suppliers effectively and resolve conflict in a timely manner to achieve business outcomes
• Be a self-starter who continuously seeks out alternatives to deliver an improved solution or value add outcome and who is comfortable working in a matrixed organization
• Values personal development and collaborates well within a team environment
• Strong communication skills – written and oral
• Ability to think on one’s feet and isn’t afraid of engaging in critical thinking and decision making.
• Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyses information skillfully.
• Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.
• Interpersonal Skills – Maintains confidentiality, Listens to others without interrupting.
• Verbal Communication – Excellent verbal communication skills required. Needs to talk with the Supplier over phone as and when required. Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
• Written Communication – Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
